Jewish Educator, Ritual Facilitator, Singer of Sacred Music, Consultant + Designer

I hold a BA in American Civilization and a MS in Human Resource Development (Organizational Development). A life-long musician, I discovered the joy of leading services at Congregation Netivot Shalom in Berkeley and then pursued Cantorial training with Cantors Pamela Sawyer and Marc Dinkin.  I have a deep love and understanding of Jewish ritual and liturgy that I bring to all of my students and to each ritual I facilitate.

I am married to Maggid Jhos Singer, and together we served as the Congregational Leaders of Chochmat HaLev, a center for Jewish Spirituality in Berkeley from 2014-2021; and the Coastside Jewish Community from 2001-2014. I currently serve on the faculty of SVARA: A Traditionally Radical Yeshiva and QueerCore Talmud at the JCC of San Francisco. I was also a co-founder of Jewish Milestones, a Berkeley-based organization dedicated to helping Jews and their loved ones find meaningful Jewish ways to mark important lifecycle moments.
